This newsletter is the first of many which will encourage you to take advantage of the services which we offer.The Research staff is available to assist you with your grantsmanship activities including:pre-award application preparation, travel to funding agency conferences, post-award management of your project or any other research needs which you have.We have posters in several locations in Willard Hall which announce, “We Are Ready To Respond!”We mean that sincerely and we hope that you will stop by our offices on the third floor and get acquainted with us. We are only successful if you are successful, so please let us know how we can help you. — Dr. Steve Edwards
Getting Help with Grants
The new changes in our Research Support Services are exciting. Our major goal is to provide faculty members with the kind of support that enables development and the achievement of grant awards. As well as supportinggrant success and service projects to lead to publications. The COE Research wiki site (osucoeresearch.wikispaces.com) is one avenue for you to access some of the tools we believe will assist you in these endeavors.According to Wikipedia, “a wiki is a page or collection of web pages designed to enable anyone who accesses it to contribute or modify content.Wikis are often used to create collaborative websites and to power community websites.”Our intent is to initiate a method to enhance communication and support in research efforts for any faculty member that finds this helpful.The following areas are provided:
